How fascinated we all are by these half human, half fish creatures they call as mermaids, and how immensely wonderful it would be if we could turn ourselves and our loved ones into mermaids. With the amazing Photoshop tricks that are taught here, you can actually do that in a snap. And the fun just doesn’t just end there. Here’s how you can change a woman into a mermaid in 20 easy steps:

Step 1
Take an image of a woman reclining on a chair and open in Photoshop. Please respect copyright laws.
Step 2Select Pen Tool to create a path around her.
Step 3Convert the path into a selection by pressing (Ctrl+Enter) and copy (Ctrl+J) the Layer 1. Go to Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal.
Step 4Take an image of a fish with and open in Photoshop. Select Pen Tool to create a path around it. Convert the path into a selection by pressing (Ctrl+Enter). Copy (Ctrl+C) the selection.
Step 5
Paste (Ctrl+V) the selected image on the woman’s image. Go to Edit > Transform > Warp.
Step 6
Use Eraser Tool to erase the extra portion.
Step 7
Go to Image > Adjustment > Hue / Saturation and set the values of Hue and Saturation as shown in the screenshot. Copy (Ctrl+J) the scales and go to Image > Adjustment > Hue / Saturation and set the values of Hue = 180 and Saturation = 80 to give the scales a bluish tinge.
Step 8
Copy (Ctrl+J) the scales and drag the copied layer onto the woman’s upper body. Go to Edit > Transform > Warp as shown in the screenshot.
